Comfort, security, and convenience

As we age, living unsupported can present many challenges and compromise our quality of life. However, with the right support, independence can continue even when 24/7 care or more assistance is needed with day-to-day tasks.

Permanent Residents at our Aged Care Residences have access to daily activities, medication management, mobility assistance, fresh meals and housekeeping services. It can also be a natural next step when the level of required care becomes too much for a family member or a home care provider.

At TriCare Aged Care Residences, a Facility Manager and Clinical Manager oversee our qualified Carers and Registered Nurses who support seniors 24/7 including showering, meals, dressing, continence and pain management, exercising, and access to other health services.

Frequently Asked Questions

The decision to receive support at home or in a dedicated residence depends on your needs and preferences. In-home Aged Care provides people with low care needs a familiar environment and continued access to their local community. However, it requires people to liaise with in-home care providers and the potential expense of modifying aspects of the family home, such as adding safety railings or a chair lift.

Permanent residential Aged Care caters for people with higher support needs. It offers 24-hour professional care and support, secure and safe accommodation, and a caring community to provide social connections and enjoyable experiences. For those with high care needs or those who want to leave behind the stress of managing a household, permanent Aged Care is the ideal choice.

The costs of living in residential Aged Care are based on a resident’s means determined by Services Australia or between a provider and a resident. You can read more on Costs & Contracts for Residential Aged Care here.
